Air New Zealand says it has had positive feedback to Friday's announcement of a big reduction in domestic air fares.
From today, Air New Zealand has simplified its domestic fare structure and reduced fares by 10 percent on average to help stimulate domestic travel.
The airline said the move equated to a fall of up to 23 percent for lead-in Smart Saver fares across all regional routes.
While no data of response to the announcement was provided, Air New Zealand said the signs were good.
"We've received a lot of positive customer feedback over the weekend and expect the new fares to be well embraced over the coming days and weeks," the airline said today
